COSCUP 2025
COSCUP 2025: Call for Proposals
The next round will open on April 19 — why don't you start preparing?
COSCUP is an annual conference organized by the Taiwanese Open source community since 2006. COSCUP aims to provide a platform to connect Open Source coders, users and promoters, while promoting FLOSS within the annual conference. The conference is free to attend and all the staff are volunteers.
This year, as in past years, we are open to all kinds of proposals related to open culture and open sources.

How to Prepare a Good Proposal?
A great presentation can take many forms. We recommend thinking from the audience’s perspective—how can you package your topic in a way that will be most engaging for them?
A proposal that meets the following criteria will have a higher chance of being accepted!
- Is your proposed topic related to open-source technology and open culture?
- Does the proposal define a suitable target audience?
- What key takeaways will the audience gain from your talk?
- Is the content interesting to the audience? Is it a highly discussed topic, or does it offer novelty and originality?
- Does the proposal include an outline detailing different sections and estimated time for each to ensure presentation quality?
- Does the proposal require background knowledge? If so, has this been clearly stated in the session description for the audience's reference?
- Does the proposal provide sufficient and complete information to help the review committee understand the content? (e.g., GitHub link, blog, Wikipedia, etc.)
You can enter proposals until 2025-05-11 20:00 (Asia/Taipei), 4 weeks, 1 day from now.
